M&C's wedding weekend in Naples, Florida was sophisticated, fun, warm, inviting, magical, and incredibly chic. Originally meant to be married in downtown Detroit on New Year’s Eve 2020 with 200 guests, Covid had other plans, and on a whim, we made the decision to replan the entire wedding in 4 weeks and move their nuptials down to Florida for 43 guests instead.
The entire wedding was filled with heartfelt moments, lots of laughter, happy tears, and so much love. Inspired by Italian garden parties, the guests enjoyed being outdoors in the warmth of the Florida winter, sipping champagne while the Bride and Groom tied the knot. Cocktail hour then led beautifully into a multi-course dining experience by candlelight in an intimate courtyard space at the heart of the venue, underneath an ancient sprawling tree.

Held in the outer courtyard of the venue, the double fountain pools acted as the perfect base for rows of flowers and candles, with chairs set to the sides. With an intimate guest count of just over 40 guest, this beautiful ceremony was the perfect setting for M&C to be surrounded by the closest people in their lives while saying 'I do'.

These sweet program booklets were one of our favorite details. While our stationery designer, Sincerely Enza, focused on the internal pages, our team spent a very happy 8 hours sewing handmade marbled paper to the pages as an outer cover, wrapping each booklet with bright gold thread, and stringing 7 little seed pearls onto the outer spine as the perfect finishing touch.

Inspired by Italian garden parties blended with high-society multi-course dining, this intimate dinner was held in the interior courtyard space of the venue, accented with an incredible ancient tree sprawling overhead.
Two long tables made of marble were set with oatmeal velvet chairs, gilded place settings, and classic silver service. Lush centerpieces of greens with white florals filled the center of each table, dotted with glittering candles that lit the tables through the evening.

Playing with the Groom's last name, Burdette, throughout the planning, we embraced the theme of 'love burds'. As a surprise to the couple, our team created a set of small plaster birds and hid them in the lush centerpieces for guests to find.

And as a nod to the Bride's first name (Madelyn), Madeleine towers were set at each seat as a sweet snack for guests to enjoy throughout dinner service.

Brown leather handbound menu books were created to not only hold the dinner menu but also a beautiful thank you note written by the Bride and Groom to their guests. The interior of each book was lined with with the same handmade gold and ivory marbled paper that created the outer cover of the ceremony programs. Guest names were calligraphed in gold ink on the front of each book, set at each individual place setting, finished with a large gold tassel studded with seed pearls.
